Annual Celebration

Our house church network officially turns FOUR years old this month! We will be holding our fourth Annual Celebration and business meeting on Sunday, August 27th. 

But you know Roots... we think "business as usual" is boring.

This meeting will be a celebration of everything God has done in the past year in our house churches.

• We will share a meal and time of fellowship with one another. This is a great opportunity to meet those across our network who attend a house church other than your own! (Signup Genius for meal, more details below)
• We'll recognize the new house churches that have started.
• You'll receive a look at our financial health and how your giving is touching lives around the world.
• Pastor Art will share some vision for the next year.
• We'll select two new board members (please see nomination information below).
• Then we'll finish the meeting by seeking God together for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit in our network.

The meeting will likely take less than 90 minutes. 

Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting! Even if you're not part of our church, we'd love to have you join us as we worship together, celebrate everything God has done in the last year, and cast vision for the year ahead. Only Mission Partners are allowed to vote in the case of business, but anyone is welcome to attend. 

We will meet at Canton Calvary Assembly of God. Dinner will be in the fellowship hall from 5-6 pm, then we will move into the Sanctuary for our celebration meeting from 6-7:30 pm. 

1. You still have until August 7th to nominate Mission Partners for our congregational board. Our board members serve our church in vital and powerful ways. We will be drawing two names from the list of nominees. Anyone can submit a nomination. Please use this link to do so.
2. Here is a link to a Signup Genius for our potluck meal. We will be providing a main course, but please feel welcome to bring an additional main course, side course, or dessert. When you sign up, please include a note with what you intend to bring so others can plan accordingly.
